Hokay, I know.. I've been kind of... nonexistant lately, but hey. I wanted to show you all a really cool site and what it does. Dunno if you've heard of it, but if you have... well, you can go catch a chicken. So it's TheOneMillionMasterpiece, and it celebrates cultural diversity and diversity and styles in art. It also supports charities. So when you join, you get a square to paint on with their software (whatever you want) and when you're done, save it. Others can comment on it, and you can comment on others. You can also replay their art to see how they did it.

So, because I want to inspire you.. and because I am rather proud of it... I decided to post the replay of mine up here. Hope it works. Let's see.

It was funny, Sean, this dude in my social class, asked me the other day if I was a "rocker chick"... Hm, it's rather amusing how people give you more labels than a used tupperware container. So far into the year at Churchill, I've been labelled: (ahem) the aforementioned "rocker chick", "that emo girl", "b-*cough*" "funky fashionista", a "Jew" (which was highly racist in the context, but that's a whole 'nother story...), "halfie" (like half Asian), "Canto" (Cantonese), "Mando (Mandarin)", "Korean", "smart french girl", "banana" (whitewashed... white on the inside, asian on the outside.. which I must say is rather true but then what point does that prove anyway?),... to name a few. I laugh at labels. Ha ha. Hear my laugh.

In totally unrelated news, Christmas is commmmmiiiinngg very soon and I'm really into the Christmas spirit right now, bursting sporadically into carols randomly, smiling at the snow, digging desperately through the basement for the Christmas tree and searching Christmas music off the internet like a madwoman. But lest we forget what the season really is about... and what Christmas literally means... I'm posting a banner I made for the upcoming movie, The Nativity Story. It looks psycho good and as far as I can tell, pretty faithful to the scripture. Keisha Castle-Hughes is also my hero, getting an oscar nomination at 14 (?) ish for Whale Rider.. and for playing Queen of Naboo in the 3rd Star Wars. They're shooting in some of the same places as Passion of the Christ, and the trailer, I must say, kicks butt. [see it here.]

Now, this really kills me, right here. Those of you who are LOTR fans might have gotten my email telling the devastating news- Peter Jackson has been kicked off the set of the Hobbit. However, this may not be for good. I hear the petition is at roughly 700... go speak up against such aggravating injustice and [bring Peter back]! I beg of you.

Speaking of obsession, the Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix trailer is [NOW OUT!]. Among the clips are Bellatrix in all her gothic, evil glory, Harry with his equally as evil haircut (cringe), adorable Sirius providing background information for poor confoozed Harry, Ron being hit by something and falling backwards, the Great Hall's windows shattering (for some unknown reason...) and a much famous, albeit dark and murky, clip of Cho and Harry's kiss.

I'm hoping to hang some with you over the Christmas, missing my bearspawsians specially right now. Have a good one, with much of big warm hobbit hugs and slobbery kisses. x.

The grief of web design

Man, I finish my layout and don't even make use of my blog after that, for only a century or so. Sorry, ladies. I know you hang on to my every word. XD Yo, I just realized recently I haven't done like any art recently on here and felt guilty, like I wasn't contributing anything to the blog world... just my ramblings... then I was like hey, that's what blogs are all about. Then I cheered myself up with a big hunk of dark Bernard Callabaut chocolate. Heh. Works every time.

Yeah, so I would post some art to make myself feel better.. and make you happy.. and my happy.. but I'm in computer graphics class right now... and understandably, can't. We're learning basic html. Woo. Hoo. Sense my enthusiasm at all? Actually it's getting better, I'm actually learning stuff right now and learning to appreciate Dreamweaver for the slacker-program that it is. :D

Ohh yeah and I also figured out why my layout worked on my computer but on everyone else's it looked warped and demented... (kinda like your face... joking. Hahahaha. Ok, I'm done.) It was because my computer screen is bigger than most, so my absolute positioning was off.... yeah. Shut up. So I gotta fix that. The perfectionist in me (growing steadily smaller with every year) is trying to attack the computer, soooo.... time to go. (And class is gonna end pretty soon...)

And yes indeed. Tis me again. (Gee, aren't you sick of me already?) Well I gotta make this short, cuz I'm supposed to be doing the laundry right now... or taking a shower.. I forget which one, anyway... I'm in emminent danger of my ears being skinned off. So. Quickly.

Uh. Yeah. So, as you can see, I'm back. WOOHOO! All right. Yes, me. So hope you like the new layout. I must say, I like it much myself. And I was quite impressed with the graphic I did for it, to the left. I did that in paint, my friends. Be amazed. Just joking. But I am pretty happy at the moment. Yay. So sorry if you catch any blips or weird happenings if you're navigating, I'm not 100% sure I sorted out all the strange little things that always seem to happen in web design. Yeah, so I just have to credit here: the code for the textbox is from Gill's site. Shamefully jacked. I am dreadfully sorry. But man, absolute positioning is way, waay easier than trying to fiddle around with the wraps Blogger already has and hope they'll end up in the right place.

Thankfully Keri isn't prone to slapping. XD Thank yuh, my dear friend, for being so patient and I know it took waay too long and you'll probably never ask me again but it IS FINISHED! And about time. I did enjoy working on it, though there was plenty of frustration involved as well (the joys and sorrows of web design). But I'm pretty satisfied with the way it turned out. It took me forEVER to get the positioning of the background right, I almost commited suicide. Just joking. But it's done and I'm happy, and hopefully Keri will be too. And everyone else. So. Haha, I like to laugh at myself. See, I wrote that whole lecture thing- well not lecture, but.. spiel, vent, whatever, on how music is being reduced to stupid topics that are much overused and not even good harmonies and all that blah and now check out what song's the song of the mo. Ain't it right. But seriously, it must be the catchiest song in the whole dang world. I'm not kidding.

Yes, so yesterday was kinda fun cuz me and Eunice (newly returned Singapore babe) had a Lord of the Rings marathon. Dang right. We were a little rusty on the Elvish, but hey, it's been awhile. Though we'll never again reach the peak of obsession we were at once, we did get pretty close yesterday. That's why the title... seemed fitting, seeing as it's the end of summer, and yeah, it's Lord of the Ringsy. I can see all you people out there shaking your heads and rolling your eyes but I know someday you'll see the light. And join the ranks of the obsessed. Or ex-obsessed.

Yeah, my site's kinda bothering me, so I'm seeing (with my amazing psychic abilities) a revamp in the near future. I have a really short attention span, so it's hard for a layout to satisfy me for long, sadly. I think I'm gonna incorporate the writing blog- purepsychoticness- into this page too, and take off the photo section. Oh yeah, on that topic- I'm uploading all the pictures you might ever want from my camera into a Photobucket account, so I'll keep you posted on that. Once I'm done, I'll email you the password.

Aaand now I gotta bounce- heh heh, sorry, I just had to say that.. y'know, Step Up? Channing Tatum? Anyway... I gotta work madly and furiously on Keri's looong overdue layout. Gah. I'm such a slacker. I'm sorry. Really.

Oh yeah, another anonymous person left a most illuminating comment on the last post and since I can't really answer them I'll talk about it here. Am I a wunk? I dunno... Not really. I'm just.. me. (Cheesy, I know.) I like sometimes wearing punkish stuff I guess, and I like some punk music.. but I'm not a punk. Or a wunk, for that matter. At least I don't think I am. Yeah, yeah, been a while, all that. Can you believe that the summer's almost freaking over?? GAH! *bangs head against wall* I know. I know. I think I'm in denial. Don't you hate when you make all these summer goals and then you don't fulfill a lot of 'em? I told myself I would learn guitar (like, chords, worship songs, right?), paint the mural on my wall, get better at basketball, get together with a bunch of people, spend a lot of time with God and get really tight with Him.. among other things. Huh. Well, the mural's in progress, the guitar learning is starting to slack off and God still isn't at the top of my priority list. Sigh. (I need to work on that.) Though the basketball thing might see hope... we'll see at the end of camp.

Speaking of pain, yeah, it's been good. But man. I didn't know I could be so sore. I was sore in places I didn't know could be sore. Haha. It's all good though, it's great fun.

I gotta go do all the things I wanted to do before the summer's over, sooo.... you go out and have a blast with what's left of it. I don't ever want to hear you're bored, you hear?? (well.. if you really reall want to tell me, I guess I don't mind... anyway.) Talk about being a procrastinator. I need to just, not. You know. (Ha.. ha... She's The Man.. "just to not" ha.. okaay.)

Yeah, I've been kinda mad/depressed/angry- wait, that would be the same thing as mad- at the whole music industry. Like, the whole music scene seems to be steadily going downhill. Fast. What's the deal with Nelly Furtado's whole "makeover" with being all "Promiscuous" and all that. Sure, it's dang catchy, but how did she go from being "flying like a bird" and "free" to promiscuous? Now she's just another good looking gal singing about sex. And man, don't there seem to be a lot of those these days? Shakira won't be remembered for singing about her hips (that apparently don't lie..) among other things- maybe she'll be remembered for her cool voice, though. So why doesn't she use that strength and sing about stuff that really matters? I kinda take music seriously, seeing as it's a big chunk of my life and happiness and all that, and I know fun songs are fine, right? Like, the Hips Don't Lie song is really catchy with a good beat and it's well mixed and really, er, dancible (?) but... I dunno, I'm into the fun songs but I'm more into the deeper ones- with good, genuine lyrics about stuff. Savin' Me, or Far Away by Nickleback. Over My Head by The Fray. Thinking Underage by Teddy Geiger. Hero by Superchick. Breathe/2 am by Anna Nalick.

Of course, like I said, I'm all for the good, catchy beats that you just want to belt out, too. I love Fall Out Boy and All-American Rejects, and you can't really say they have songs about deep, dark stuff... I guess you can classify songs into 2 catagories- the fun ones, and the ones that give you a lift when you're down, make you cry, make you think. They're both awesome. It's just.. I get the feeling the deep lyrics category is shrinking majorly as we speak. And that a lot of the sexuallish (hey, look at that, made up a new word) songs I guess could be classified as fun, but that category is having a boom for sure. And I wish more artists would put a little more time and effort into putting out more of the meaty stuff, the stuff that will be remembered 10 years from now.

Wow, this is a long post. And I meant it to be short. Oh well. Yeah, sorry it was kinda heavy-topic-like today. Yah, so if you're looking for the funny little stories or things I say most of the time when I post on Blogger, you're going to be searching hard in this post. Sorry. I'm too tired to be funny.

Yeah, one more serious thing to add to this post: I realized how much I listen to music. Probably almost 24/7. Which means I memorize a LOT of lyrics. I have like, a dictionary of them in my head. And.. uh, how many Bible verses have I memorized? Now does that hit you or what? Can you relate? Maybe we should turn off the mp3 players/CD players/radios and flip open to our Bible's. Or we could listen more to songs that glorify God, like Chris Tomlin.

Are you with me? Can I get an Amen? All right! Haha.

Sorry again for the lack of humour in this post. I feel weird not adding some sarcastic remark or punchline or something. But it would kinda ruin the effect anyway.

And.. breaking news on the Celine Music Addict Front... I have got meself a Creative Zen Micro. 6 GB, which is about 3,000 songs. Booyahhhh. It's neon green and the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I'm uploading my illegally downloaded songs- I mean, my CD's, as I speak. Type. Whatever. Be jealous. Be very jealous.

The summer's going by waay too fast, in my opinion. I really want to make the most of it. Sigh. Me and my sis (yes, I am aware that is horrific grammar) were watching home videos... nuff said. They make you very meloncholy. But dude. We were cute! Ever see pictures of yourself when you were small, and want to hug yourself? Yes indeed. I know the feeling. Or is that just me?

And by the way... haha, Romy, you're so my hero. I actually am 99.999% sure of who the anonymous person is. And I don't think they meant to sound annoying. They're a very nice person in fact. Yes, however anon, you'll have to wait for the updates... it's harder than you think, you know. Nice to know I'm needed though. =D

Time flies... like Superman!

Ok, forgive the dumb simile, but I'm kinda in a "superman craze," having just watched a Lois & Clark episode and Superman Returns recently. Have I ever divulged my deep dark secret: that I'm a comic book junkie? Haha, so now you know. Stop laughing. I don't mean just Archie comics. I mean comic comics like: the aformentioned Superman, Batman, Birds of Prey, Spiderman, Ruse, X-men, the works. DC, Marvel, Crossgen, I'm hooked on them all. I said stop laughing. This is baring my soul here. Yes, I know the stereotype is that the only people who read comic books are geeky teenage guys- and balding, middle-aged men with a fair share of a kid still left in them (*cough* *dad* *cough*). I suppose I'm proving it wrong, then. Woot for comics. And girls who clearly have gender issues. Hey, I never said me...

So, my summer so far has been quite near awesome. I've done my fair share of sleeping in, sleepovers (aka, not sleeping at all), watching TV and my favourite movies over and over (still have to get to the whole TROY and LOTR thing... will do, will do), and just doing nothing, which might just be the best of them all. Hey, that's what summer's all about. Yes, I'm also teaching myself guitar. So far, I have most of Days of Elijah down. (I'm getting there... slowly but surely.) Yeah, and also plan to paint a mural on my bedroom, a plan that so far is mostly talk and no action. But I will. (See, I have to procrastinate in the summer somehow.)

Aaaand... looking hopelessly at the pile of pictures (figuratively speaking, of course, they're digital) and remembering I have to post them all somehow, I decided (or, the slacker in me decided) just to give it up. You want pictures, talk to me on msn and I'll send them all to you. That's the deal. It's way to difficult to post them all here, it'll flood my photobucket account and it'll take pretty close to forever (don't forget, I do have a computer time limit now).

Man! No R.I.P for me, no siree

Dude. I wasn't kidding about the title. Can't a girl do a little resting in peace and not update every so once in a while? Haha, nah, I love you all for missing me and yeah, it was sorta a double meaning as some people seemed to think I was dead and all.. hey, look! Yep, I'm still alive. Though I suppose I'm enduring a form of living death, having 25+ mosquito bites from camping at Mt. Kidd for 5 days (yes, that's where I've been). I met this cute french guy there. Bahaha, I can already see the imaginations going into overdrive. More on that later. Perhaps. Yes, I do have a picture, and no, I'm not going to post it as we both look horrible (this was a picture with all his family and all my friends; keep that in mind... not just the two of us, sadly. Joking.)

Yeah, so I sense a major picture dump taking place in the near future with these amazing psychic powers I have, but unfortunately not now because the dad is starting to edge onto the lobster red, steam-out-of-the-ears stage as he wants me off the computer. Now. Well folks, the title pretty much says it all. I'm baaaaaack. Thank you, thank you. I know your life has been a pointless existance without my updates, so I'll try to make it up to you. But hey, it wasn't my fault.. wait, ok, so it kinda was. But then I DID find them. Turns out I didn't leave them in Edmonton after all (see, I KNEW deep down inside I'm not that stupid). But I was still grounded because, uh, I thought I forgot them. Yeah. Well, that doesn't matter anymore because it's all over and done with.

Ok, just so you know, I typed this a while back but didn't post it because the pictures were screwing up, so if youre wondering why some stuff doesn't make sense anymore... yeah. And also just so you know, I've been grounded from the computer (except homework) until the summer because I think I left my $250 glasses at Edmonton. Yeah. So, no updates for a while.

Find one that you're 101% sure is genuine, tell me. Fast). Helena Bonham Carter will be playing Bellatrix, as a replacement as Helen McCrory will be pregnent during filming (can you imagine? A pregnent Bellatrix? and the only person she seems to adore enough is.. Voldemort? Oh, please let's not go there). Apple Brook will play Grubbly-Plank and Jason Piper will play Bane.

Yeah, and another random tidbit: I had a pretty rad wipeout today will mountain biking at COP (2 actually) and did something weird to my arm that before I washed it Gill surmised it "looked like a piece of raw meat." It was quite fun. I was pretty proud.

Frick, gotta go work on French. Darn French class. I swear, the only good thing with the word French in it is French fries. Now that's the truth. (or, pretty near it)

United in Christ @ YC 2006 = Good Times

Well, YC is officially over and it was, I gotta say, the best thing that's happened to me since my trip to Australia last December. Yeah, it was that good. At least, for me it was. Unfortunately, I.. uh.. forgot to charge my camera two nights in a row (what, I was tired!) so I don't have pictures for you. They're all stuck in my brain, and I hope I never lose them. There are waaay too many good times to recount here, but I'll share a bunch:

Trevor pretending to be Chinese and "asking Amy out" (not for real, people) on the walkie-talkie. Worship with Chris Tomlin. Eating pizza at midnight, 2 nights in a row. Shouting "Oilers Suck!!" at everyone we saw and getting death glares. Headbanging with Romy at the Barlowgirl concert (no joke). Rocking out at the Pillar concert. Getting crushed in the crowd lining up for the TFK concert. My hoodie cloning itself, then disappearing altogether. Us (Trevor, Kevin, Luke, Scott, me) going on the TFK t-shirt binge. Being so thirsty and with the lines forever long, finally drinking out of the tap. Having random guys ask for hugs and say hi. Laughing so hard I cried at Panicsquad. Truth or Dare with the guys on the long road trip back. Looking kinda gansta in a hoodie only 10 sizes too big (I swear it was the comfiest thing I've ever worn- thanks, Clarence!). Climbing on the monkey bars at 11 on the playground after we got back, singing "all day" at the top of my/our lungs. But most of all: Looking around the stadium and seeing 16,000 people from all different backgrounds and stereotypes (punks, goths, emos, preps, everyone) united and praising God. Seeing 16, 000 people with their hands raised in the heart of worship is the most amazing sight in the world, I guarentee it (though William Moseley's face comes pretty close. Joking, dude, joking.).

Hey, it's my birthday tomorrow. (and Romy's too! What a coincidence!)

Aaaaaaand.... yes, finally I scanned my artwork.. well, the better portions of it, and I've posted it up on the ART section (buttons above, in case you can't tell). So, most of it is fanart as I tend to get obsessed over various things, but there is some "original ideas" sketches- yes, they're all sketches, but I might scan a few paintings/charcoal drawings sometimes... Freaking yes!! I've decided that my favouritest movie of all right now is High School Musical. Oh. My. Gosh. No, sooo good. And Zac Efron... oh man, he makes me just melt. I am gonna marry that man someday. Really though.. he's got the voice, the hair, the dance moves, and he plays basketball... (*squeals, starts gasping, hyperventilates and dies*) The second the dvd comes out on tuesday, I'm snatching it from the shelves and watching it over and over and over and over and over.. yeah. Ok, so once we've sat back, stunned at the final score, watching in disbelief and bawling our eyes off to boot (all right, that was only me), after fingering the refs and Anaheim players (I'M JOKING PEOPLE!! I wouldn't do that, no matter how much I wish them all a painful death), after realizing with heartbroken revelation that there won't be time to memorize In Da Dome 2006, that the Flames flags and shirts are going away, that we AREN'T going to be able to kick the Oiler's butt after all... after yelling and screaming and crying and frowning... we sit back.... and we realize... you know what, incredible as it is to believe, hockey isn't everything. Thanks, Flames. You give us reason to cheer every year, and though, honestly, you sucked like crap last night, we all know you're a better team than that. AAAND we expect the cup to come home next year, got it?

Been a while since I've updated, sorry. AND I STILL CAN'T FRIGGIN FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THE SCANNER!! Actually, it's not really that. I think I could if I wanted to. Yeah, it's all cuz I'm a lazy butt. Hey, you don't need to agree. But I swear I'll have my art page up and running soon. I hope. Well, nothing much new here. Working on homework, though I can't really concentrate knowing that it's tied 1-1 right now.... >_< Seriously, how do the teachers expect us to do homework with the playoffs and all?

William truly "beautiful", X3 clip and a Happy [late] Easter to everybody!!

Heyyy... well, hope you all had your share of candy, chocolate and hyperness this easter, hopefully NOT forgetting what the real meaning was. Dude, our whole faith is built on this day.. or, yesterday. If Jesus hadn't beaten death and come back to life, we pretty much would be screwed. No, seriously. We wouldn't have anything to believe in, no nothing or nothing (wow, talk about bad english...). So I say today (er, yesterday) is pretty dang important to us Christians and I really hope all of ya who actually read this have a good moment of joy and scream out loud because OUR SAVIOR CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD!!! Now that is something that can get you waay more happy than chocolate. Amen and Hallelujah and all that.

Now, speaking of things that make you happy, William Moseley has been chosen by the Paper Magazine as one of 2006's most beautiful people. hmm.... now how's that for the understatement of the year?? Well, as you all probably know, today lotsa and lotsa years ago, our Savior died a reeeally painful death on that cross to bridge the gap between God and us for eternity. As in, forever. Wow. Am I the only one that that hits hard? Seeing as we tend to take today for granted, maybe we should take a minute to spare a thought ... at least a thought... on the Dude who saved our lives and went through hell to spare us from it. Crucifixion was painful, man. Not that I would know, never being crucified, but I've read about this stuff and it is not a plate of chocolate chip cookies. Jesus doing that.. for us.... that is love. To the max. Beyond the max.

On a happier note, today is Rebekah's birthday. Happy Birthday, gorgeous!! ;P Everyone sing, all right, now all together... HAAAPPYYY BIIIIRRRTHDAAAAY TOOOO YOOOUUUUUU.... ok, we'll stop there. Have an awesome birthday, reb. Rupert's upcoming film & site updates

As probably some of you know, Rupert Grint's gonna be in a movie coming out in the not too distant future, called Driving Lessons (with Laura Linney). The movie's mostly about Ben (his character) and how he grows up when he meets a retired actress and she teaches him to live a little. Now I've got an inkling it could be slightly, er, kinda, well, ok, bad (cough cough) but we'll see. If you want to check out a clip, it's right here. (Keri, you know you waaaant to....) 'Order of the Phoenix' update from Empire Awards

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire didn't get any awards at the empire ceremony last night, (lost to star wars III for sci-fi/fantasy and lost to pride and prejudice for british movie- both of those movies are pretty awesome too, though) but got an honorary award, and there are some sweet quotes from some peoples about the upcoming 5th movie (woot woot)...

David Heyman (producer) on what has actually been filmed to date and how long filming will take:

We've done a little bit of action so far. We've done some stuff involving centaurs and Grawp, who is Hagrid's 16ft brother. The kids have to act against a lot of blue screen for characters like Grawp, but thankfully, they're used to that by now. We're actually shooting until the middle of May and then we break up for two months so the kids can do exams. Then we pick up in July and we shoot until October or November.

Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) on asked if he's staying for the rest of the movies:

I hope so - you'll have to ask David. I can't bear the idea that somebody else would get to wear my Paris Hilton wig, but you never know.

Harry Potter (Remus/Tonks) computer art

Mag scan of Narnia cast off Teen Vogue

this is a magazine scan I dug up on www.williammoseleyfan.net and www.georgie-henley.com. I think it's pretty sweet. (I especially like how they combined modern clothes with the narnia sorta look. And it's got William Moseley in it... you need more motivation to check it out?) I put it together (it was 2 images) but its still got a gap in the middle cuz of the magazine, so work with it. But its still a really cool picture (on my desktop now).

yay! as the aussies say, got tons of "prezzies!" among my faves: music inspired by the choronicles of narnia cd (current musics off that), the Message Bible, some cool clothes and the 4th harry potter book (GoF). sweeet. gotta love the holidays. but it aint just the presents, remember... the most amazing part of the Christmas season is the fact that the Creator and Lord of the universe humbled himself enough to come to earth in form of a baby. dude. that is love.

not a creature was stirring, well, except me, who charged to the tree and started madly shaking presents and banging away on the piano until everyone else woke up. is that poet prowess or what? what can I say? i'm a natural.

pfft. yeah, actually im usually- ok, always- the last one up, around 11 min. so that was kinda a lie. but ayways. dude, that was an AMAZING Flames game on last night. i almost had a heart attack, I was so stressed. whoo baby! only about 40 more games to go.... yay....

um, yeah. so. christmas eve. what's weird is that I was waay more psyched in my last post, and that was before school was even out. somethings wrong with me. well, nothing some good chocolate can't solve!

Ha. well, to all you dudes and dudettes who i know reeally want those pics i took at the Christmas Carol theatre thing, this is for you. that was a pretty sweet play. i liked it better than the other one, the miracle worker or w/e. anywaaayz... flip, the homework loads even heavier than normal this weekend. such as long week. dude i like fell asleep in the car when my mom went to pick up some stuff at the store. twice. and now moms restricting my sleep in time to 9.30 max. shoot me. seriously, shes gotta give me until 10.30 at leeeeast, or i wont be awake. siiiiigggh....

Music: dctalk: what if i stumble

Hey all, (kinda weird coming from me since no one really reads my blog... but oh well, i like to flatter myself... ) heres my daily post... i dont really know what to talk about. hm. its frickin freezing today. man, only, uh, say 3 more months min then spring. but i actually don't want it to be spring right now, cuz it's gotta be winter for Christmas. it's gotta be a true Canadian white Christmas, with -40 temperatures and whipping wind and... all right, maybe not all that. it was so weird last Christmas in Down Unda, singing Christmas carols outside (of all the outrageous things) among the palm trees, appropriatly adorned with Christmas ornaments and going to the beach on Christmas Day. It was around 40 degrees. insanity. it was cool, but i think i like Christmas here in canada a little better. plus all my relatives that i cant even keep track of and some i havent even met... big happy chinese family, of course... (big as in billions, if you dont believe me you can go check) and all the relatives gave me all these great frilly, pink/pastel purple outfits that i would never in a million years wear. seriously. blech. but, as the aussies say, no worries! its all good. and it is, because i have SOO much more than other people, and i am such a selfish brat to complain when kids are starving in africa across the world. so hey, next time yoouuu start to grumble, remember all those people who have waay less than you. or tell your friends to slap you if you complain. works for me.

Yeah, yeah, it came out forever ago, but I just got this blog thing running, so cut me some slack. seen gof.. lets see... twice already, and would have more.. but movies are so flippin pricey these days, seriously. The verdict: eaaah.... I loved it, but hated how they cut out like half the book. I know, if they did everything it would have been 4 hours minimum... but as a devoted fan can't I at least fantasize? Moody wasn't at all like I pictured, tho, what with the weird eye and all- I thought itd just be in the socket, not like strapped around his head.. but whatever. And i was mad how they cut out all Draco/Hermione interaction, cuz as a D/Hr shipper I was dying to see the part when he sees her [at the Yule Ball] and was speechless... speaking of ships, what was with the Hermione/Harry thing? One word: ew. But it still was amazing, despite all my criticism... i was kinda ticked that Hermione's dress was frilly and pink and not blue, but thats just a mundane detail and thats just me...
